Return of music news

Sorry about the gap between blog posts, I was out of the office last week. I'll probably be catching up on some music news over the next few days, but here are some quick hits for now:

The band Boys Like Girls, who played with Good Charlotte last summer at the Val Air Ballroom, play People's Court July 9. Nevershoutnever opens the show. Tickets are $19.99 and go on sale May 15 through Iowatix.

80/35 acts The Dig Angees, Cleo’s Apartment and The Josh Davis Band perform at The Principal Charity Classic at Glen Oaks Country Club in West Des Moines on May 29. A $15 ticket to the golf tournament is required to see the show. Go to principalcharityclassic.com.

Euforquestra's Camp Euforia returns for another year in Lone Tree, IA. Tickets for the July 17-18 festival are $35 in advance, $40 day of show through Iowatix. The announced acts are Euforquestra, Samba Nosso,  Diplomats of Solid Sound, Uniphonics, Public Property, JC Brooks, Heatbox, We Funk, The Grosso Family Band, Awful Purdies, Hunab, Maximilian Eubank, Dead Larry, Bumpus, Mr. Baber’s Neighbors and The Gglitch.
