Saving Abel, Jamey Johnson, more at Val Air

There are a few shows to announce at the Val Air Ballroom.

Saving Abel brings its Miss America Tour Aug. 4. We are the Fallen, American Bang and Taddy Porter open. Tickets are $20 and go on sale Saturday morning through Ticketmaster. Oh yeah, and Saving Abel's new album, "Miss America," came out this week.

Country singer Jamey Johnson plays the next nght, Aug. 5. Johnson has a new album due out in September. Ticketmaster's email to me said tickets go on sale today, but the website says June 25. Either way, they'll be $22.

And finally, Arch Allies, a tribute to REO Speedwagon, Styx and Journey plays Aug. 6. Tickets are $10 and on sale now.
