Sonic Factory is fundraising to expand
Work in progress.

Lots of bands are turning to sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo to fund albums, but what about the studio where those albums are recording? They're appealing directly to you.

Sonic Factory is looking to raise funds to expand into the space above them, effectively doubling the size of their studio. To cover the cost of renovating the space they've launched a fundraising drive, not through a pledge site, but by appealing directly to fans

They don't have a goal amount to raise, because they're not sure how much it will cost them. But they do have incentives for donating money. $50 lets you observe a recording session with an artist. $100 gets a framed photo of you hung on the wall of the staircase leading up to the new annex.$250 gets you a one hour class with studio engineer Skyler Van Walbeek. $500 gets you a fully produced song with Tony Bohnenkamp on drums/keyboard and Jon Locker on bass. $5,000 gets you naming rights of the annex. $10,000 gets you a silly photo.
