St. Vitus @ LBF, free Nadas show Wednesday

Local burlesque troupe the St. Vitus Taxi Dancers will perform at this year's Little Big Fest Sept. 21 at People's Court. No word yet on what time their set will be, but troupe member Hillary Brown says the night's theme is "whiskey drinking, poker playing housewives" and that they will be consuming Templeton Rye during the performance.

In related news, I am considering auditioning to join the St. Vitus Taxi Dancers. The odds are probably against me, but I do love Templeton.

The Nadas are playing a free show for Iowa Workforce Development in support of Veterans Day at from 12:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Admission is free, and the show will be acoustic.
