Stone Sour's new video, "Gone Sovereign"
Stone Sour's new album "House of Gold & Bones Part 1" is due out on Oct. 22 (with Part 2 due out next year). They're kicking off a tour later this month, though no Iowa shows are announced yet.
The first video from the new album, "Gone Sovereign," was released today. Check it out:
The band shot the video in Des Moines on Sept. 26, not a bad turnaround.
Taylor is in New York this week for the New York Comic Con. Dark Horse (publishers of Sin City and Hellboy) announced that Taylor will be writing a comic series based on "House of Gold & Bones."
I asked Taylor about comics when I interviewed him in August about Knotfest, specifically if he's read DC's New 52 line of books. His response was:
"Not really. Some friends dig it, but DC keeps starting from scratch every two years, then they wonder why they can't keep their house together. Marvel has kept its own continuity for years, but with DC every couple years they get bored and start over. Nothing will frustrate fans more."
Taylor's comic series will only be four issues, so you don't have to worry about him revamping or relaunching mid storyline.
