Tennis, anyone?

The Colorado band Tennis has been getting some good buzz, and they're playing a show Tuesday at the Vaudeville Mews. You might not have heard of them yet, but you will recognize the last name of this husband/wife duo: Patrick Riley and Alaina Moore. It's not that Patrick shares his name with the former Knicks/Heat coach; he's the grandson of Bill Riley Sr., aka Mr. State Fair and nephew of Bill Riley Jr, the State Fair Talent Competition's current host.

They've been getting play on satelite radio and recognition from The AV Club, Pitchfork and others. So far all the band's songs have been about a seven-month sailing trip the Rileys took. It's an interesting theme album concept.

They play at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Vaudeville Mews. Admission is only $5.
