Tilly & The Wall kicking off tour in Des Moines

The Omaha band Tilly & The Wall has been kind of laying low for the last few years. Des Moines last saw them when they played the 2009 80/35 Music Festival. The band hasn't released an album since 2008's "0" and tap dancer Jamie Pressnall was pretty pregnant when they last stopped through.

Oh yeah, in case you didn't know the band doesn't have a drummer. They have a tap dancer.

But in October the band will be releasing a new album, "Heavy Mood," and embarking on its first tour in four years. They'll be kicking the tour off with an Oct. 5 show at Wooly's.

Tickets are $12 and go on sale Friday through ticketfly.com. Tilly & The Wall has a new song, "Static Expression," up on their website, and you can hear the song "Love Riot" on Team Love's Sound Cloud account.
