Torture Survivors' Benefit and Sustain-A-Ball concerts

I'm merging two good cause concerts into one blog post here.

On Saturday Bombay Bicycle Club will host a Torture Suvivors' Benefit Concert starting at 8 p.m. Strong Like Bear, Clocks & Clouds, Little Ruckus and Christopher the Conquered will perform. Proceeds will go to the Torture Abolition and Survivor Support Coalition. Admission is $5.

The Center on Sustainable Communities will host its annual benefit concert, Sustain-A-Ball (formerly Evergree) Nov. 8 at People's. The Giving Tree Band, who performed at 80/35 last year, will play the show. Chasing Shade will open and Michele Beschen will emcee. Tickets are $25-$100 and go on sale Oct. 1 through Midwestix.
