Two Gallants coming to Iowa City

After a few years of hiatus, the San Francisco duo Two Gallants is back with a new album, "The Bloom and The Blight," on September 4. They're also making a return visit to Iowa on Oct. 4 at Gabe's Oasis in Iowa City.

To the best of my knowledge the last time the band played Des Moines was in 2006. I'm not sure if they had other dates in the state after that.

Tickets are $12 and go on sale Friday.
