Updated: Joey Jordison hospitalized, Slipknot cancels shows
Slipknot's Joey Jordison
Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison was hospitalized Saturday, forcing the band to cancel shows in Seattle and Washington. No word yet on why, and the shows are expected to be rescheduled soon.
Announcing the cancellation at the Seattle show, Corey Taylor said it was a "severe medical emergency" before adding, "He's okay, though."
UPDATE: On Slipknot's website the band has announced that remaining August and September dates have been canceled. So that Slipknotfest that was briefly set for Des Moines? It wouldn't have happened anyway.
