Bio: Blue Island Tribe is all about spreading positive energy. In the past nine months the band has spent a month touring Japan and Korea entertaining U.S. troops; recorded a new EP, "The 5 Hits of Ecstasy," which reached No. 3 on the iTunes Reggae Album Chart; had their pictures published in Billboard, Pollstar, and Radio and Records Magazines; played three showcases at SXSW in Austin, Texas; and most recently opened for 311. Blue Island Tribe plays more than 100 shows per year all over the nation and has shared the stage with 311, Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, Eve 6, and many more.
