Why you might know them: This catchy indie act has sold out two shows at the Vaudeville Mews. Last year they showed up on “Sesame Street” to help kids learn the alphabet. Plus, they’re from Omaha, so we’re neighbors.

Why you should care: A lot of attention is paid to Tilly tap dancing percussionist Jamie Pressnall, but there’s a reason for that: It’s awesome. The music makes you feel good and want to dance, making Tilly & The Wall the perfect act to open the festival.
