Fresh View: Seven nights, seven bands in Des Moines
Maybe you recognize my face from one of the nightspots or events around Des Moines. I'm Dan Hodges, one of the longest-running freelance photographers for Metromix and Juice magazine.
Here's my "Fresh View" take on the music scene in Des Moines. It's always a rush trying to capture the excitement and energy of a live concert. I took a week in November 2009 shooting a different concert each night at seven different venues around the metro. From thrash to bluegrass, from rock to blues, tag along and take a look at my view of the local music scene.
