A center devoted to lifelong learning, The Science Center of Iowa provides access to live programs and hands-on activities that encourage visitors of all ages to play, discover and experiment. The heart of the facility lies in Experience Platforms focusing on everything from weather to everyday science, where guests can launch a rocket, look through a telescope and identify fossils. The Science Center is also home to traveling exhibits, an IMAX theater, a gift shop and a cafe.
