The restaurant features a combination of the contemporary and historic. It reflects the historic feel of the remodeled building and picks up on the cocktail culture of traditional cabarets and supper clubs, yet it has a contemporary, urban vibe. The Americana is one of few 2 level dining restaurants. It is also located across the street from Pappajohn sculpture park.
