Editorial Juice Review: Granite City Food & Brewery
Granite City Food Emporium and Brewery
Susan Straka, 34, and Tiffany Zmolek, 30, both of Urbandale, eat chicken salads on the deck at Granite City Food and Brewery. (Arturo Fernandez/Juice)
This place always seems to be humming and the parking lot is almost always full. On weekends, the line stretches out the door around dinner time. Why? A nice, pleasant and slightly upscale atmosphere with interesting things going on. Watch through glass walls to see foods being cooked and beers being brewed. There's a wide variety to choose from on the menu, including a plethora of appetizers and finger-foods. This is one of the best mixes of a bar and restaurant in the area.
