Big groups are the norm at the Iowa Machine Shed, and the booths and tables accommodate six or more people. The walls are adorned with John Deere signs, farming equipment and lots of wood. It's big, open and friendly. The restaurant is the kind of place you go when the whole relatives are in town, not where you would take a date for a quiet, romantic evening out (unless your date used to be president of the FFA).
