Most recommended spot:

Chef's Kitchen, 1903 Beaver Ave.

The fried pickles are one of the most popular menu items here. They're dipped in flour and a homemade beer batter before they hit the fryer, and then served with a basil pesto ranch dipping sauce.

"The best fried pickles in town are at Chef's Kitchen in Beaverdale," said Emily Brekke, 27. "They come on a huge heaping plate and they are awesome. They are fried pickle chips so they are just the right amount of pickle and batter."
