10th Street will be closed from Walnut to Mulberry on Thursday for an entire day of free events celebrating the grand opening of the Davis Brown Tower.
Festivities include a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting for the Davis Brown Building, a free Gateway Market lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. with live music from Los Saltinos 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and a happy hour from 4-7 p.m. with live music from the Chris Ranallo Band, $2 Raccoon River Brewing Company draws and $2 appetizers from Django.
First National Bank and Josephs Jewelers will have an open house, giveaways and specials throughout the day. Attendees can also register for the $5,000 “Win Your Wish List” shopping spree at Josephs Jewelers (downtown location only) with lunch at Django with Van & Bonnie and limo service; winner to be announced on September 15th.
