A clever paint job - with flames shooting up the wall - and framed photographs of the owner's forebears succeed at making this spot more engaging than the typical barbecue hole-in-the-wall. Corrugated tin trim, a help-yourself station of barbecue-sauce pumps and rolls of paper towels on the tables all signal the hyper-casual nature of the place.
