After reading a few reviews, we decided to venture out to Wok In Motion. We started with the seafood hot and sour soup. absolutely delicious!! nice spice to it. then on to the sushi. we got three rolls, all very fresh. and finished up with an order of General Tzao's chicken. while it was a little spicy, it was extremely good. the chicken was so fresh and moist.
Upon arriving in the parking lot, we didn't know what to expect. a little skeptical, kinda like-if you don't like what you see, we can leave. not that it was dirty or anything, just didn't think that quality like we got could come out of this place. looking around a little more, you realize the simple quality of the joint. open kitchen, small simple sushi bar. limited beer selection, normal pop arrangements.

Everything is so fresh, sushi is WONDERFUL....Staff/Owner is so friendly. This is a god send to someone that craves sushi and can't find it at as many locations in Iowa as you can in Arizona! Thank you!!!

I first patronized Wok In Motion when they first opened, and was actually a fan. Their specialty rolls were good, the service was par, and the ambiance was new and fresh. I've returned a few times since, and have been disappointed each time. Service has fallen way off, and it wasn't really that good to begin with. We were seated and had nobody come over for ten minutes or so. We ordered drinks and were presented our menus. We knew we wanted sushi, so we were quick to have our orders, but waited again for another ten minutes. In retrospect, I should have just gotten up and taken the order to the waitress, but I didn't want to interrupt her conversation. We finally ordered and received our food not too long after. Our scallop roll was pretty good, but our shrimp tempura roll was covered in a sauce that we were repulsed by. After a couple more tastings, we determined that it was a strawberry yogurt. When we complained to the waitress, she told us that it was right and the shrimp tempura roll comes with that sauce. No offer to replace it, no apology - I'm sorry, strawberry yogurt doesn't belong on strawberry yogurt. There are too many good sushi restaurants in town to return here.

I have been going to WOK since it opened in 2006. Located in the fabulous West Glen, we continually have excellent service and fabulous meals. Their sushi was a little weak when they first opened, but they have come a long way. Our favorite sushi roll is the TST (not fried!). It seems expensive at $15 but it is huge! and the flavors are a amazing. We always have a hard time deciding between just sushi or to get wok creations because everything is so fresh and tasty. Great for lunch or dinner...I just went Saturday night for my birthday with my in-laws and Sunday night for dinner with my parents!
