Bambino's claims to be "just sort of Italian," but good in that Iowan belly-filling way. Good like Midwestern moms made "Italian" food in the '60s. Good in the way that a big ol' platter of pasta can bring a family together at the table. The place is known for, among other things, its homemade hot rolls.
Food specialties: Bambino's serves up a belly-filling array of Italian-style beef, chicken, pasta, pork and seafood. They also serve homemade pizza, classic Italian desserts such as tiramisu, and offer several ala carte items.
