Some coworkers were going to Basil's, and I asked them to bring something back for me. The wait staff at Basil's was really on the ball and checked back with the gals while they were eating to see when they would be ready for the take-out order. Basil's staff had the order ready to go when the gals were finished eating, but not before. And when they got back to the office, I had hot pasta--my fav from Basil's--tomato and basil, with that yummy bread.

I work downtown and love to go to Basil's for lunch. Their homemade pasta portions are good size, and fairly cheap for around $7.00. That comes with fresh bread too! They also have great salads, sandwiches on delicious South Union bread and even succulent soups and homemade cookies. You can't go wrong with Basil's for lunch!
