Tumea's is a Des Moines landmark. The restaurant is often packed with neighborhood regulars who love the oversized bowls of pasta, fresh rolls and garlicky parmesan salad dressing. There's also a bocce court out back where you can play in the warmer months. The restaurant is known for it's spongy "peach" dessert.
