Vito's is a nice, mid-scale lunch and dinner destination that transforms into a dance club at night. Located in the heart of the Pedestrian Mall, it's one of Iowa City's classic college bars. A full menu features pizza other Italian entrees, as well as burgers and sandwiches. After 9:30 p.m. the bar transforms into a dance club, with a DJ spinning hits four nights a week. Cover is usually charged on weekends. Tank tops, hats and gym shorts are discouraged. Also, those aged 20 and over are admitted but may not drink.
