I agree with the review by apple. Not sure why they made the recent changes to move rice and noodles behind the grill, put sauce in cups and create some number system for the food??. They were already SO slow now its even worse. Food was bland due to not cooking in sauce and oil and they gave us way too much mushy rice. Could only pick out a few things worth eating and left the rest. Too slow to bother with a second trip as entire grill area was backed up on a slow lunch day. Mongolian is such a simple concept I don't know why they felt the need to make it complicated. On the plus side they did add some interesting choices to their selections but not enough to bring me back. Heading to Hu Hot in the future.

When you first walk in there is a sign that says theres no rush. Well, they aren't kidding. After you build your bowl, you bring it to the grill like every other mongolian grill around. The difference is, that the cooks here are so slow. I've been going to mongolian grills since around 2004, and I have never waited as long for my food as I did here. Another disadvantage, is that they tell you to put your sauce in a cup instead of on the food. They claim that since it goes on right before the food is done cooking it produces more flavor, but I disagree. Both bowls I made came out bland and dry, because the sauce cup they give you is too small. You also don't get to add the amount of noodles you want because they add them to your food after you've given the cook your bowl.

There are several good things about this place though. They allow you to make mexican as well as stir fry, theres a small salad bar, and they will have a frozen yogurt bar soon.

Overall, the bad out weighs the good. Just because its in the Jordan Creek area, doesn't make it better. If you want a good mongolian buffet, do you yourself a favor and go to Hu Hot.

Cool that this place tastes amazing, can switch from Asian to Mexican depending on how you mix it and that it is local. But cooler still is that I discovered everything is homemade, desserts, apps, soups, and even the nacho cheese sauce and chips.
Check them out on Mondays when they drop the price on martinis to $2. The dry spices are a great change from other mongolian restaurants.

Like one of those Chinese buffets that serves pizza and jello, these people have a little bit of everything. Want nachos with your stir fry? No, probably not, because they're as bad as the rest of the food. Bland and straight from the Sysco box!

I went on a Friday for lunch and it was my first trip. My waitress took me on a tour of the restaurant and got me started. I seriously had the best service I've had at any restaurant probably all year. My waitress was very attentive and two of the managers/owners came by my table to chat with me, which was definitely nice. The selection of food is great; you get unlimited soup, salad, nachos, and stir fry, plus you can make fajitas and receive rice with your meal. And it's all high quality food with many options for everyone, kids, vegetarians, even gluten-free options. My one problem was that there were too many things I wanted to try! You definitely get your moneys worth.
