Classy sports bar with FANTASTIC food!

Francie's really isnt your average sports bar. Its not one bit pretentious, but its a bit classier than your average place to grab a beer, a burger and watch sports. In face, I dotn think Ive ever gone there to watch a sport event-but thats the beauty of it. Its a great spot for a group of girlfriends to have a glass of wine, for sports lovers to catch the big game, or for a family celebration. My very favorite is the Buffalo Philly chicken sandwich. Im big on spicy food, and this is perfect. Try dipping it in their ranch dressing to cool down your mouth a bit.

Francie's consistently delivers delicious foods with great service and atmosphere. There is a reason its been such a popular restaurant/bar in the Des Moines area for many years. My friends and I love to go for dinner and drinks before hitting the town. The philly buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite, and what I always end up ordering-although Id love to branch out one of these days. The queso dip is a specialty and great on nachos and the burger. If you want a cocktail-order another specialty, the Moscow Mule. Not many places do it right-but they have it down with their copper cups and quality ingredients.
