I love Gusto's crust--and the fun of trying their temporary pizza specials when I'm in the mood for something different than my usual "Scampi".

I'm with @cornflkgrl - Red Rossa has the best pizza in Des Moines I'v ever had. Paper thin wood-fire napoli style pizza, air filled dough blistered by the fire... plus, cooked up in less than 5 minutes thanks to their 800+ degree oven. Hard to lose.

Red Rossa is the only acceptable pizza to us. There is no "New York" style pizza in Des Moines. We've tried every place. Only way to get New York pizza is to go back to New York. Red Rossa should be on this list.
