You guys didn't include the best pizza hands down in Des Moines, Pagliai's Pizza in Johnston.

How it worked
We asked you to nominate the place you think has the best slices in Des Moines. After adding up the nominations and taking out chains without Iowa ties, these six rose to the top of our first reader poll: Big Tomato Pizza Co., Fia’s Pizzaria, Fong’s, Gusto, Jersey Guys, and Wig and Pen. We sent Juice staffers to all six spots to try seriously unique pies. If you thought your only choices in town were cheese or pepperoni, read their reviews. Then, you voted -- 4,535 votes total -- for which was best of the bunch. Here's how the final poll, which ended 11:59 p.m. Feb. 27, ended:
