A newer addition to the Iowa City Pedestrian Mall, Donnelly's opened in 2005 with a Irish pub theme. Though it has the feel of a neighborhood bar, the decor and bar features all new woodwork and brass fixtures. Burgers and sandwiches, plus Irish stew, are the fare. A couple outdoor table are available for smokers. In addition to Hawkeyes and NFL games, the bar shows European soccer games frequently.
