AlwaysOnTheGo: I think you attached your Fawn's review to the restaurant page itself instead of this Datebook Diner review.

Moderator, I am wondering where my comment disappeared to? It was submitted Wednesday night, accepted, and posted to the site Thursday am. And by Thursday afternoon it is not to be found. Why ??? I am not an employee at their restaurant and never have been. I am just a long time customer who appreciates their cooking. Personally, I feel that all views should be allowed to be expressed. Fawns had the worst pho I have ever tasted. I should have known with all the reviews I have been getting, but decided to check it out myself anyway since I've tried almost every pho restaurant in town. This gets a low grade from me. The spring rolls were the only good thing on my visit to Fawns. The staff could have been more attentive instead of hiding in the kitchen. Overall i would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fawns was a good place to eat : - ) The chicken spring rolls were excellent and the vermicelli dish was very good. I have had the Pho there and it has always been hot and flavorful. Staff is very friendly and eager to please. Will definitely be going back.

We were not impressed at Fawns. The Pho broth was weak and luke warm. The pork on the rice vermicelli dish lacked flavor and was dry and tough. Maybe it was "recent opening" flusters but it was disappointing.
