I've read the reviews for years, but never made it to B&B Grocery Meat & Deli until 2 weeks ago. When I walked back into the deli corner, I thought I was in an old deli in New York City; except the guys behind the counter were friendly and easy to joke with. After confirming this was my first time at the B&B, they helped me figure out what I should start with - Dad's Killer. Great way to start and now I want to go back for their breaded tenderloin.

I've grown up on the southside of Des Moines and can't imagine life there without B&B Grocery Meat and Deli.
The steaks they cut are the best!!! I've never gone wrong with any of the meat I've bought from them. Their sandwiches are as they say "KILLER"!!! You have to try their Dad's Killer Sandwich and their pork tenderloin sandwich. ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!
The guys there are great too. They'll let you know about all the sports news for the day. In fact, their hat collection from sporting events is very impressive.
This is a place that anyone in Iowa have to experience!!!
