Smitty's Tenderloins has been a fixture on the South Side since Bill "Smitty" Smith opened up shop in 1967. The mantle has been to two more generations of Smiths and the atmosphere has always remained the same: that of an old neighborhood corner diner. Chances are good that at least one of the Smiths will be working any time, day or night. Smitty's breads each tenderloin by hand and cooks it to order, with onion rings and malts always popular sides.
