First Look: Smashburger
We stopped by Des Moines' newest burger joint, Smashburger, 1821 22nd St., #106, West Des Moines, on its opening day. Despite being busy (we went right over lunch), the operation was like a well-oiled machine. Instead of first-day chaos, the line moved quickly, we were greeted by a pleasant personality at the register, we found a spot to sit without a problem and our food arrived in the amount of time promised (just five minutes!). The quickness of the service paired with the quality of the food makes this a perfect place to stop over lunch.
