Fresh View: Fall dishes
One of the most sentimental dishes at Cafe di Scala is their Butternut Squash Cappellacci, a dish that they've offered every fall since their opening. The sweet potato and butternut squash-filled fresh pasta with its brown butter sage sauce was originally developed by Chef David Ryan, one of the original chefs at di Scala. Though Chef Ryan passed away, the dish remains as a yearly tribute and true crowd-pleaser year after year.
