Great food, great price and friendly service.

The title says it all. The food here was excellent. People looking for more authentic Asian styled food need to head to this area of Des Moines. There is some great stuff here. The server was very helpful and very polite offering opinions on the dishes when asked, which is sadly a lost "art" in many restaurants.

The Pho was amazingly fresh and flavorful. A real treat at a great price. There really is nothing more to say. Try it if you have not. You will be hard pressed to find better food of this style in town, but I will still try.

Pho Ha Dao is a true favorite. Comfort food without mashed potatoes! Yup, it's true. Their pho (flavorful clear soup base with your choice of meat or seafood and vegetables) is superb. Everything is fresh and your body will thank you for the healthy treat. Everyone is friendly and the service couldn't be better. Ask the chef what he recommends. Their noodle dishes are full of flavor! It's open late now, too!
