The Saigon Cafe in my area looked a little seedy on the outside but the inside looked well kept. It was easy to find right off a main road. The type of cuisine was Vietnamese. There was no music, but a lot of authentic decoration, and paintings. The lighting was dim, but wasn't distracting. We talked about the art in my GU class of the many SouthEast Asia countries and I saw there was a lot of decoration and painting of Asia's land. The food was delicious I got sesame chicken and it was a decent price for the amount I got. It had a wide variety of food selection with a Vietnamese a Chinese section. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 because the food was so good and the waiter was really nice.

I really enjoyed coming to Saigon Cafe. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it was quite delightful. The service was good and they were very kind and persistent. I thought it was a great restaurant ad would enjoy going back. I would also enjoy trying new restaurants that are similar. This time I went with my friend Julia, but it is a restaurant good for anyone to go too. The building is kind of small, but easy to find. The type of cuisine they are mainly known for is Vietnamese. They were playing music that was in a different language, but I'm guessing it was in Vietnamese. They're decorations weren't the typical decorations you are used too. They had beads hanging from the entry way to the bathroom. I also noticed Buddhas all throughout the restaurant. The lighting was dimmed. Noticing the Buddhas, I remember in class talking about Buddhism being the path to enlightenment, also that the Buddha is a symbol for good luck. The food selection was good, because they had a lot of different dishes to choose from. They had many different appetizers to choose from, the one we ordered were the crab ragoons, which were great!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. We were seated right away which was good. The sweet and sour chicken was really good. I love asian food so I would recommend going here and i would love to try other asian places. Next time i would take my family there with me because they love asian food too! I wouldn't go on a date here but i recommend this restaurant to families. The building was small and casual yet nice. It was fairly easy to find. It had Vietnamese food. There was asian music in the background which set a calming mood. They had the animals of your birth years for placemats. Also had different asian decorations around the room. The lighting was dimmed. This restaurant had different decoration that you wouldn't find at an average american restaurant. in class we learned about people being buddhist and having Buddha's for good luck and i noticed a buddha there. I thought there was a wide variety of food to choose from. They had eggrolls as an appetizer which looked very good!

I am asian, I know what asian, especially chinese/vietnamese food is suppose to taste like. During lunch one day i ordered a Pork chop combination with the egg cake and as I went to go pick it up i did not look at the food untill i got back to my place of work. when i opened the box iInoticed right away that the egg cake looks like it was not edible. The egg cake wa hard as a rock and looks like it was something they made they day before and left out because it was dry and crusty. I took a bit into the rice and there was a sour taste to it. Rice is only good made fresh or max 1 day 1 night. This rice seemed like it was sitting the rice cooker for days and they decided to put it in my box to rid it. The soup was water, salt and green onions. It tasted like water. Usually with this meal people serve it with Beef broth as they usually do also since i have aten there before and my husband alwasy orders this meal. It was also a dissapointment. The only positive thing I can say about the meal is the pork chop since it had to be made fresh. I called to let them know what happened and the lady tried to say this is how they serve their food and they do it different in all asian restaurants. In that case i'm not sure who would want to eat there if this is how they serve their food. I am ASIAN, dont tell me I dont know what I an eating. I eat this stuff on a regular basis. $9 for a peice of crap that was not edibe, and this is how they serve their food. i asked the lady if i bring it back would she eat it and she kept going around the question.Never again! I better see a refund or i will make the time to go back and complain in person and i am not the type to ever complain. But when the food is this bad, who wouldn't for $9! I couldve went to cheesecake factory and got myself a $12 meal worth the price. Or went to Mcdonalds and got a cheaper meal that would at least be edible. Like I said, Never again!

Used to be one of my favorites. Definitely was a weekly regular. The new owners do not have things down right yet. Sunday we had 3 people TRYING to serve us. However, the service was terrible. Not fun when you ask the teenage girl who has been giggling and playing with the teenage boy who is working if you can order food and all she does is laugh and say she is new. My chicken was dry, now when you get chicken so dry that even the sauce does not make it better, you know you have bad chicken. Definitely will be looking for a new place to satisfy my chinese cravings! I did notice their attention seemed to be focused on the larger groups (and I am talking about one's who got there after we did).

My favorite place to enjoy Chinese/Vietnamese by far. Can't say enough about their Kung Bao Chicken and another of my favorites, Chicken Sizzling Rice Soup. Everything is fresh and they will make any dish/tweak any dish any way you like it!

I love Saigon Cafe. We came across it one day while I was looking for a place in town I could find real spring rolls (not eggrolls, which some places call spring rolls). After doing an internet search, Saigon Cafe was what we came up with as one of our options that wasn't too far of a drive and was said to be reasonably priced. I'm so glad we tried it out! Excellent food. The vermicelli salads are all delicious and fresh. Pot-stickers are addictive. Spring rolls are very good. The sauces, fresh veggies, and sauteed meats, are all so good. And the prices are very modest. The atmosphere is nice but not high end, just clean family restaurant style. The family that owns Saigon Cafe is so friendly. I love this place and highly recommend it as a restaurant to dine in when you want good Vietnamese food. By the way, they also have a Chinese menu following the Vietnamese menu.
