1. 'Star Wars: Clone Wars'

What Was It? Unlike the new show, which was actually inspired by this series, the original “Clone Wars” cartoon was actually a miniseries of shorts made by “Samurai Jack” mastermind Genndy Tartakosky, who employed a “Jack”-like stylized look that has now inspired the look of the new toon. Though it’s also notable for also introducing General Grevious, and for setting up the kidnapping that kicked off “Revenge of the Sith.”
