Report this commentThe B&B is one of my favorite spots in Des Moines, so I instantly thought of it for the dinner. The only problem is they do not have a large private room. We would have to be sharing the bar space with the rest of the patrons, and our party is going to be quite large. Still on the list though!

Report this commentI dont think we would ever have to worry about the food served to our guests if we are at Centro. While we dont have all the details yet, Ive heard they do private parties. Our reception is at the Marriott and many of the guests are staying there, so the location would be perfect.

Tursi's Latin King -

Report this commentThe Latin King is a much loved Des Moines landmark, which seems ideal to show our out of town visitors. Des Moines does authentic Italain food right, so this is top on my list. The food here is always amazing, and I love the Tursi family.

Dos Rios Cantina and Tequila Lounge -

Report this commentI love the atmosphere here, that is probably the best thing that Dos Rios has going for it. The food is usually very good, although overpriced in my opinion and the service is mediocre at best-unless it has imrpoved. But I love Court Avenue, its close to the hotel with many of our guests, and they do have a beautiful party room.

Report this commentI havent eaten at the Marriott since this retaurant replaced the former. I love the design and atmosphere (we saw it when checking out the marriott for our wedding reception) and it obviously would be very conventient for guests that are staying at the hotel. However, would it be too boring, and not show off the good spots in Des Moines enough to our out of town guests?
