Latin King -
2200 Hubbell Ave. - Des Moines (Des Moines Metro)
Report this commentThe Latin King is a classic Des Moines restaurant with amazing food every time. They have multiple different dining areas-some more intimate than others. Wonderful for a first date or some much needed quality time with your spouse.

The Cheesecake Factory, Jordan Creek Town Center -
101 Jordan Creek Parkway, Suite 12550 - West Des Moines (Jordan Creek)
Report this commentPop into the Cheesecake factory if your date night involves a movie at Jordan Creek.

Gateway Market and Cafe -
2002 Woodland Ave. - Des Moines (Downtown)
Report this commentThis may not seem like the most obvious place for a date night but they have excellent food and options for even the pickiest eater. One of my favorite parts that my fiance and I love is the happy hour. If you go for an early dinner from 4:30-6:30 you can get $2 glasses of wine!

801 Steak and Chop -
801 Grand Ave., Suite 200 - Des Moines (Downtown)
Report this comment801 Grand is definitely one of the places to go if your willing to spend the big bucks for a special event or really impress a date. Its nice because you can come in casual clothing or formal-you will see people there for many different occasions. Known as one of the best steak houses in Des Moines, 801 Grand is perfect for a special event. However, I must share a tip that I didnt know! The sides are large enough for at least two people-dont over order and spend more money than you need to.

Django, Hotel Fort Des Moines -
210 10th St. - Des Moines (Downtown)
Report this commentDjango has reccently become one of my favorite places to eat in Des Moines. Its a perfect spot for an intimate date or small group dinner. The wait staff is excellent and eventhough the prices are not outrageous, they do make you feel like you are dining at an extremely fancy restaurant. If your a fan of seafood, they have an amazing raw seafood bar.

Gyros!
I love everything about gyros! The Des Moines metropolitan area is not filled with Greek restaurants like some larger metro areas, but these are a few of my favorites.
