My favorite burger spots
Everyone loves the good old all-American burger. Sometimes I'm in the mood for the classic cheeseburger, and sometimes I like more of a twist. Here are some of my favorite spots.

1
Smashburger -
1821 22nd St., Suite 106 - West Des Moines (Des Moines Metro)
Report this commentThe newest addition to my favorite burger list. I have only tried one variation here, the classic smashburger-but it was amazing. I absolutely love the fact that the bread is "smashed" and fairly thin, not to overtake the greasy, awesome burger.

University Library Cafe -
3506 University Ave. - Des Moines (Drake)
Report this commentOne of the very best burgers in town-and a great place to hangout!

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers -
6255 Mills Civic Parkway - West Des Moines (Suburbs)
Report this commentTwo words: Bonzai Burger. This amazing burger is marinated in terriyaki, and topped with cheese, pineapple, lettuce and mayo. The ingredients all melt together and blend with the pineapple to create a fabulous combination. Yum, hungry just thinking about it...

Report this commentB-Bops definitely has my favorite fries in town, and thankfully they have a really awesome burger too. I love that they put mayo on their burgers-a guilty pleasure of mine.

Burger wars: Francie’s Con Queso Burger
By Sarah Dose - November 11, 2008
Report this commentFrancies Con Queso burger is totally different than anything Ive had before. Basically its a topless burger with a heaping pour of spicy cheese. Although ketchup isnt necessary, as a condiment lover-I like to pour it over the top and dip Francie's delicious crinkly cut fries into everything. Heaven.
